Sudan Vision Daily – Sudan Makes Headway in Malaria Eradication

The conferees expressed discontent with delays by the General Medical Supplies Department, which is responsible for delivering malaria drugs to states after receiving funds from the World Support Fund. The delays, according to the conferees, led to the increase of infection in some regions. The issue of the new structuring also dominated discussions during the conference.

In his speech, Dr Khalid Abdul-lMutalab, the director of  communicable and incommunicable diseases- Federal Ministry of Health, indicated the necessity for integrating programmes to make ideal use of resources in order to achieve justice, quality, control resources and enhance health system.
